Arsenal discovers its mojo
ARSENAL
Arsenal went on a quick fire goals rampage while turning the screws on West Ham in a 7 goal first half thriller at the Hammers London Stadium.
Showmaster and Arsenal's Mr reliable Bukayo Saka was at it again conducting the show and proceedings with two assists and a goal and of course Captain Odegaard was in the vanguard of all things positive with his trickery and defence splitting passes, caping the days performance with a brilliantly taken first penalty of the game, Saka's goal was the second of the penalties awarded Arsenal in the goals spree and the last of the game, an icing and a seal to the night's proceedings.
Big Gabby was at it yet again, scoring in the 9th minute from a perfectly taken Saka's corner kick in a new flag kick routine by Arsenal and Trossard popped up with the easiest of tap-ins from yet another assist from Saka after a defence unsettling and splitting pass from Captain Odegaard from a midfield build up. Kai Havertz was released through one-on-one with West Ham's Goalkeeper for his goal with a perfect over the top pass by Trossard, the Hammers did fight back spiritedly though to get back into the game, scoring two goals in quick succession one from Wan-Bassaka and the other a well taken freekick by Emerson, but it was all too little, too late... game over.
It was all the Gunners can do to turn the heat on front line title chaser Liverpool who play a bruised and dangerous Man City tomorrow.
