Karim Benzema wins 2022 Ballon d'Or


Karim Benzema,French Footballer and Real Madrid power house and goal scoring machine has been awarded the Ballon d'Or for 2022 Season and Calender year.

The footballer whose career can be best described as a mixed bag of inconsistencies,controversies and frictions on and off the field has surprised many by maintaining an unflinching and solid consistency in self believe, rising above it all to become one of finest goal poacher and all -round footballer the world has witnessed.

Under the guidance and an obvious trust in his prowess and capabilities  by Coach Zinedine Zidane he blossomed and flourished and cleaned up his persona and distorted  public perception to become wholistically accepted and even admired,earning his club's Captain's band and earning a recall to the French national team  and mending a friction laden relationship with Deschamps, the  French national team coach.

He shone like a thousand stars in the 2022 football calender year with superlative performance and potency that left no one in doubt that he is the front runner for the highly respected French magazine instituted and initiated globally acclaimed award for the best footballer in the world over a given period/season.His winning the award has also rubbed off positively in restoring confidence and respect for the award that has been tainted by some hazy controversies that left it on the firing line of fiery criticism of its later editions.

    I saw it coming considering his efforts at the club more especially at the champions League final. He richly deserve it.

Arnold made this claim before the judge, Henry Chizvidzo. According to Zimbabwean Live, Arnold was divorcing his wife because of her beauty which was giving him sleepless nights.
