Reason behind the sudden improvement in Electricity supply

The improvement did not come as a result of their corporate initiative or effort, there are some underlying dynamics...FG wants to revoke the contract of the DISCOS and give it to Siemens so they are kicking against it and trying to show they can perform and secondly as with every election year Electricity generation improves in the build up to the Elections to curry votes and manipulate the electorates that things have improved going  forward.

*FG has signed a contract with Siemens to take over generation...transmission and distribution of electricity in Nigeria..*


Suddenly all the Discos who have power contracts are firing on all cylinders to prove to FG that they can deliver...meanwhile prior to this time electricity companies acted like they are doing us a favour...suddenly they can leave power for 18 hours a day.


I now get 23hrs light daily sometimes 24hrs non stop. Na me come dey off freezer, off fan, off many appliances now because my prepaid meter dey run low. 


*WELL it HAS BEEN COMMUNICATED to THEM that THERE WON'T be CONTRACT RENEWAL,* if they like let them leave power 30hrs
